The growth of our practice last year was due to several factors. Word of mouth and referrals were a major component of our growth. We were blessed with an amazing year of new clients who contacted us after learning about another person’s successful experience at our clinic. Also, moving to our new location that is on the main street of our town gave us a boost as well. Furthermore, we focused on a consistent and positive brand image. This included creating our company’s logo and visual identity consistent with our messaging and overall personality. The goal for our brand was to be recognized, trusted, and preferred by our target audience.
Our overarching theme for growth in the new year includes exceeding clients’ expectations and needs. We monitor and evaluate our performance and client feedback to identify our strengths and weaknesses, and to make improvements. Launching into 2024, our plans for growth include setting us up for future success by sponsoring a new hearing instrument practitioner student in September. This additional staff member will support the growth of our clinic in the years to come, providing more availability for appointment times and coverage through vacation and holiday seasons. Our plans also include utilizing an amazing testimonial we received from a long-term client who is one of British Columbia’s best-known and respected broadcasters. We are in the preliminary stages of creating an ad campaign to highlight this testimonial to bring awareness to our clinic and remain competitive and successful.
We also plan to provide additional services to better serve our community. This includes adding cerumen management to our list of services this year. I have completed my training through Pacific Audiology Group and will be starting my supervision hours soon. Also, our staff will begin offering educational outreach programs like lunch and learns that will range from hearing healthcare presentations to simple Q & A sessions. Plus, we have expanded our clinic offerings to include other health and wellness services such as Advanced Foot Care Training from a Licensed Practical Nurse. This will increase traffic to our clinic and potentially convert to new clients.
