SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 (GIBSONS, BC): A Sunshine Coast tiny home designer and builder is paving the way for the implementation of tiny homes as a means for suitable and affordable housing in Canada. At present, these homes are typically built to recreation vehicle standards that are considered by regional districts as seasonal use only, limiting where they can be placed and how long they can be occupied. They can also be placed on raw land, for use as a secondary home, or as an auxiliary unit for additional use for a household.
