ABOUT: They are raising $20,000.00 for heat pumps at the Heritage Playhouse in Gibsons to replace the heritage building's very old aging A/C - heat units that are big greenhouse gas producers. As well as $10,000.00 for the The Nature Trust of British Columbia with 4 locations on the Sunshine Coast but also doing great work across BC, conserving land and protecting habitats to let Nature grow and help the animals have an area to live. SECHELT: From April 14th at noon to April 16th at 2pm the fundraising duo will be located at the BMO on the sidewalk area beside the building along Wharf. GIBSONS: From about 3pm on the 16th to 5pm on the 18th, the climate action heroes will be located at the IGA Gibsons parking lot. The fundraiser is called Elevate for the Environment as they will be up in the air on the scissor lift.
