50 Women Building Together Housing Project 🏘️

Across the Sunshine Coast, many women, children, and community members are struggling to access essential resources, from housing insecurity to limited support systems. Sunshine Coast Community Services Society is leading a critical initiative—a purpose-built, affordable housing development and a new community service hub in Sechelt.

The Building Together project includes 35 units of affordable housing prioritizing safety and dignity for women, seniors, youth, and their children vulnerable to or affected by violence and a new community services hub that everyone can access. They have secured 90% of the $34 million needed. The ‘50 Women for SCCSS’ campaign aims to raise the remaining $1.5M+.
