THIS WEEKEND! Join Rotary for the First Annual “I Rolled a Hippo” Walk for Water! 🦛💦 An inspiring event tackling a global crisis. 12pm Noon Saturday March 22, 2025, Mission Point Park, Davis Bay on Sunshine Coast BC Canada 🇨🇦 Presented by The Rotary Club of the Sunshine Coast and the Rotary Club of Gibsons.

Walk Starts: 12:00 PM

BBQ by Donation: 1:30–3:00 PM

We’ll be walking 6 km carrying water and pushing a Hippo Roller filled with 90 liters, a powerful symbol of the daily struggle millions of people—especially women and children—face just to access clean water. This Rotary-led initiative is raising awareness and funds for Hippo Water Rollers, an innovative tool that makes water collection easier and safer for families in South Africa.
