Lost Puppy Survives Night in Freezing Temperatures

WAGS! #News: 🐶 Lost puppy survives night in freezing temperatures during Arctic Cold Snap on Sunshine Coast BC Canada 🇨🇦 Yesterday the BC SPCA Sunshine Coast branch posted a call for help as a 11 week old puppy that was in a foster home took off and was missing in Roberts Creek. The family and SPCA were asking for anyone who could come help look. A big group of folks searched the area she went missing from yesterday until late last night with no luck.

A bunch of people were out again at 9am this morning 14 January 2024, unsure what to expect after the puppy spent the night out doors in freezing temperatures. Around 9:50am, the puppy, Rose, walked out of the bushes to a group of searchers. As if she was done hiding and ready to be rescued. They were able to grab her then!

Other than shivering, she looked completely fine; Drinking water and taking treats! The foster family rushed her inside and had the vet on the phone. I believe she’ll be totally fine but I don’t have details!
